Red - King Crimson (Live in Japan) (HD)-OTBT-100

King
Crimson-red(1974)

In
the previous post from Robert Fripp I use the word prog very lightly,
King Crimson were bunched in with that scene due to their early 70s
output. But in 73/74 there music became very complex. Really
intricate guitar work, shifts of tempo. This clip is instrumental,
features two drummers, 2 guitarists and 2 bass players. But they all
know their parts and dont over elaborate their parts. The oriignal
was recorded in 1974 and at that time they were a 3 piece band. They
sort of split up for a while and Fripp contributed to the Bowie
albums and resurfaced in 1979 with the Exposure album. King Crimson
then started on in 1981 with the Discpline album. Adrian Belew is the
common thread he is on the Frank Zappa track as well.
